WHAT IS CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY?

How does craniosacral therapy work?

Our body tissues naturally contract when under physical or emotional stress, such as chronic pain or trauma from injury, and the inherent craniosacral motion becomes compromised. The therapy involves a light hand contact to ‘listen’ to these natural tissue and fluid rhythms, promoting a greater expression of vital and balanced motion, tension relief and a revitalised sense of well-being.

During a session you lie fully clothed, in a comfortable position on your back or side. Craniosacral therapy is particularly effective in the form of a short course of treatments. The sense of relaxation and revitalisation increases as the body becomes accustomed to the treatment.

For this reason it is recommended that new clients are open to a minimum of two sessions and discounts are available for popular treatment packages.
